It is beautifully done in 8 1/2" x 11" hardbound format. 222 pages, coated glossy paper, thousands of full color buttons of the era face and reverse, with ample text providing military regulations, types, construction, imports, domestic production, symbols employed in various state, Federal, and militia examples. The research data is exemplary!
