Pattern 1795 British Volunteers Bayonet

This is a fine condition Pattern 1795 Brown Bess Volunteers bayonet. The unusually large sabre sabre style blade is joined with a collared L mortised socket. Overall length of the bayonet is 26 11/16" and blade length is 22 1/2" with 4" socket and the interior of the socket is 1" in diameter. Great addition to an early bayonet collection.
