These cartridges were excavated recently in the Peninsula Campaign area east of Richmond, Virginia. They are part of a cache found buried in a hole. We may have more available soon. These are in reasonably good condition considering they have spent 150 years underground. Most have small cracks in the rubber cases but if they are kept in a neutral environment they should last indefinitely. The rubber is vulcanized so we don't recommend treating them with anything. They have been cleaned of dirt and coated with Lexol. Each one is a little different, but all are in overall similar condition and quality. I am asking $125 each plus shipping.
