This is yet another Federal issue US cartridge box plate recovered from the Cedar Creek Battlefield from Dr. Lord's Collection. Overall good condition, but with a bend along the upper right edge that occurred during the plate's service. One hook intact, the other about 90% intact. Minor chipping on bottom right edge--barely noticeable. Lead sound on reverse. This palte also has a small tag proclaiming "19th Corps" and a glued tag that reads "Cedar Creek."
