Nice early war Federal infantryman's cartridge box. Stitching and leather finish sound, flaps, belt loops, tab, finial intact and unrepaired. Tins and plate missing--easily replaced if desired. The shoulder belt was removed and attachment buckles neatly removed. (These were occassionally removed by soldiers in the field who preferred to wear the box on their accoutrement belt.) A good representative Federal box.
