This stamp�bears the imprint �"GeneralGouvernement" "Der SS Und Polizeifuhrer Im Distrikt Warschau".� There is a tiny number "8" below the wreathed swastika.This stamp measures 4 1/2" high with a 1 3/8" diameter on the stamp disc.� The handle is made of turned wood and the base is brass.� It looks like the disc itself is made of copper.� Nice original example of a regime noted for its bureaucratic efficiency.
