Here is an unusual piece:  a regulation Model 1892 bugle from the Spanish American War.  The bell is engraved "Co. D 13thRegt." and the maker's imprint "J. Howard Foote / Paris. New York AND Chicago."  The bugle is also still strung with its original faded blue infantry cord.  The bugle was discovered in Minnesota and was in the collection of Chris Nelson, noted 19th century bugle collector and author.  The horn is intact and still plays.  It is accompanied by a copy of Kyle R. Ward's illustrated history of the 13th Minnesota and their experiences during the Span-Am War.  Nice piece with good history.
