Marked Cavalry Carbine Sling Buckle
Item #: LD 229
These are getting scarce these days--a marked carbine sling buckle. This one was recovered by Dr. Lord around 50 years ago--most likely in the Valley where he did much of his early digging. The buckle is bent a bit but looks good in a case. Best of all, it has the maker's stamp "Chicopee, Mass," "US," and "T J Shepard."
